Happy 20th Anniversary, Lollapalooza!

Today is Day 1 of Lollapalooza's 20th anniversary music festival. Here's a peek of how the festival's look has changed throughout the years. Since its start in 1991, Lollapalooza has grown from having a shaky branding system to its more polished and well-recognized, artistic look today. Its current logo was launched in 2005 when founder Perry Farrell first partnered with C3 Presents and found a permanent home for the festival in our lovely city, Chicago.

DID YOU KNOW?
The word "lollaplooza" also refers to a large lollipop, which is represented in the festival's original logo.
