Three meals a day, sometimes home, sometimes out. Deciding where and what to eat is a part of our everyday, and dining out, a favorite social pastime. TASCHEN's "Menu Design in America, 1850-1985" reminds us that menus shouldn't just be run of the mill paper lists. As the restaurant industry flourished, menus became an important marketing tool and keepsake, many designed with vibrant colors and illustrations.
