Being a lover of music, pop culture and design I need to get my hands on this book created by one of my all time favorite artists Jay Z. The book is a journal-sized hardcover with a white jacket and has a gold Rorschach print on the cover designed by Rodrigo Corral. The book and its contents are very clean and screams hip hop at this moment in time. Its no coincidence that the covers use of gold is the same as the recently released blockbuster album Watch The Throne. Jay Z is branding him self royalty in his city of New York. His campaign to promote the book was incredible. Posting every page of the book in areas that coincide with the story on that page all around the city. 2011 was an amazing year for Jay Z, the book spent 19 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and made over 1.1 billion media impressions online.
