Magical Design Experience

Recently, I went with my family and my goddaughter to Disney World for the weekend. It was a fantastic experience in many ways. One unexpected plus was how inspired I was by the amazing exhibition and area design at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure.

Anyone who is even slightly interested in how design plays out to a large environment should visit a theme park like this. The Art of Censorship, or the Art in Not Censoring

Design Trends: Bringing Back the 80s!

Recently, I've been seeing quite a few things around that make me remember growing up in the 80s. Maybe you are like me and you grew up on synthesized music, bright geometric shapes, pizza rolls and brilliant television shows such as Perfect Strangers and Alf. Maybe you're not, but it's hard not to appreciate some of the ways that designers are borrowing from that era to create catchy pieces.
