Built for Scaled Self-Expression

Zilla Brand Redesign

Brand Strategy • Brand Identity • Visual Identity • Packaging Design • Brand Standards

Zilla set out to become more than the leader in reptile care, it aimed to become the lifestyle brand for a new generation of reptile enthusiasts. Built around a community that values both exceptional care and bold self-expression, the redesign celebrates the unique bond between people and their scaly companions.

Our revolutionary redesign delivers a vibrant visual identity that combines bold color blocking, dynamic layouts, a flexible grid system, and a reimagined wordmark to create a brand experience that is unmistakably Zilla. The new word mark incorporates a discovery element with two lizards hiding in plain sight of the ‘Z’. Bright, overhead photography brings each reptile to life, creating the illusion that the animals are climbing onto the packs themselves. The result is a bold, expressive brand that stands apart on shelf, strengthens emotional connection, and inspires reptile enthusiasts to wear their passion with pride.
